• Thanks so much for updating your predictions on the EURO 2016 qualifiers, as well as the African WCQ games, guys! Very much appreciated.

  A few thoughts:

  I like that you guys have 2/4 unseeded teams in the Euro playoffs winning their ties (Denmark & Ireland), and I wouldn’t be surprised if one or two (or more) of them are victorious. Sweden has been a team in decline for a while now, so it is easy to see how the Danes could defeat them for a spot in France next Summer. The only thing keeping me from picking them over the Swedes is Denmark’s recent lackluster form in qualifying – two draws they really should have won & a loss v Portugal. Meanwhile, Rep of Ireland can certainly overcome the Bosnians, since they were able to steal 4/6 points off the Germans in their group. But part of me pessimistically believes the Eastern Europeans will win the two legged showdown instead to reach their first ever Euros. In regards to the Norway v Hungary games, I disagree – I think Norway will win as they are in resurgent form having come out of defeating Croatia and nearly doing so against Italy on the road, while Hungary nearly lost at home to the Faroe Islands and did lose to last place Greece. Agreed on Ukraine defeating Slovenia, however.

  My picks – Ukraine, Bosnia & H., Norway, and SWEDEN* (on away goals rule after two draws)

  As for the African qualifying games, I seriously believe we could see upsets in as many as 25% of the fixtures (5/20 games) Cameroon are going through a bit of a crisis in finding a new manager with less than 1 month out from their clash with Niger, which could be signs of a football association in disarray ( as was the case in the past with this team during the ’14 WC). Ethiopia produced a good showing in the last WCQ season, coming 180 mins away from reaching Brazil in the final phase of qualifying. So I think they could surprise an inexperienced Congo squad, but we’ll see. Morocco v Equatorial Guinea literally could go either way. Finishing in 4th place at the AFCON earlier this year was a promising sign of improvement or the Equatorial Guineans, who have been emerging as a force in West Africa for a little while now. Namibia v Guinea is another tough one to call. Lastly, there doesn’t seem to be much difference in quality between Rwanda and Libya at the present moment. The latter will not be playing at home due to instabilities within the country, however, the North African nation has proven to be rather difficult to beat even for the toughest of African sides the last couple of years.

  My picks – Tunisia, Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, DR Congo, Senegal, Mali, Cape Verde, Algeria, Zambia, Gabon, Burkina Faso, Uganda, South Africa, CAMEROON (benefit of the doubt), GUINEA (barely), CONGO (close one), LIBYA (just think they’re better than the Rwandans), and EQUATORIAL GUINEA (shocking the Moroccans)

• Hey, I stumbled on your site the other day. I was just wondering if you guys had a “win percentage” of sorts. Out of all matches how many have y’all called correctly? Just curious.

  • We Global Football is the best draw prediction website, that I have seen so far. The only problem is that they concentrate on national teams. They don’t predict club football.
